Had a blast around Ireland with a great family from the USA.
From Dublin and the U2 concert and a local soccer derby we travelled to Fota Island down in the South West. From there we visited Cork played golf in the wind and rain at Old Head of Kinsale .Heard tales of Spanish Galleons in Kinsale and kissed the Blarney Stone.
Travelling north we stopped off to see King Johns Castle in Limerick and enjoy a cultural lunch in the Hunt Museum Cafe.
A breezy afternoon saw us atop the Cliffs of Moher and then up to Galway for Race week. After a couple days at Ashford Castle and a trip around Connemara it was hard to take the road back to Dublin in time for the Riverdance Show.
Great fun , great food and drink and what great country Ireland is with friendly people and a warm welcome wherever you go.
